Preschool Outdoor Classroom (late spring-early fall) Behind the Preschool Playground, on one half of the field located behind it, a canopied area is created during the warmer months. This area has table and chairs, shelves, and rotating centers such as a camping center or play kitchen area. Teachers may bring their teacher directed activities (age specific) here, do an art project, or just watch the children enjoy the centers. Materials from the indoor environment may be used here in a different or similar way to how they were used inside. From this vantage point, the children can see their garden in the distance, the playground behind them, and wide open space.
