Emily holds a Child Development Associate’s certification that she earned in 2018. She received her Assistant Teacher certification in 2006. She has worked at various childcare centers in her career and taught Vacation Bible School in the summertime. She has had a strong passion for early childhood education all her life and had dreamed of becoming a lead teacher for a long time. Emily loves to ski, hang out at lakes, and hike and bike around Durango. She also has a passion for dolphins and visits beaches when she can. Emily plans on finishing her associate degree in the near future and plans on working with children until she retires.
